Balbriggan

Originally a small fishing village Balbriggan is now a vibrant sea-side town located 32Km (20ml) north of Dublin City Centre in North County Dublin. The name of the town in Irish is Baile Brigín, meaning 'Town of the Small Hills'.

Balbriggan has much to offer residents. Safe sandy beaches: an operational harbour and light house the beautifully restored Ardgillan Demense and Castle set in 200 acres of rolling parklands, with access to beautiful rose and kitchen gardens. Balbriggan Golf Club, an 18 hole championship course with full facilities including bar and restaurant. Historical sites dating back from the 14th Century at Balrothy, Bremore and Four Knocks. The fresh water lake at Balrothy near Balbriggan offers good trout fishing.

Since the opening of the M1, the coastal town of Balbriggan has become one of the best served communities in terms of infrastructure. It is a 32 km drive to Dublin City Centre; and only 22 km from Dublin Airport. The public transport infrastructure includes Dublin Bus, Bus Eireann and Iarnrod Eireann Arrow rail services to Dublin City Centre (about 45 minutes journey with some 30 services per day).

Future infrastructural development, including the Metro North, the extension of the DART to Balbriggan, the recently completed Port Tunnel and a series of new roads projects, make Balbriggan a very exciting place to live and purchase property at present.

Making the most of this great location, Bremore Pastures Drive is the latest development from Euro Construction Corporation Ltd – providing a balanced mix of very well designed 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes. The spaces include considerable open green areas, a crèche, bus stops on site and is only 2 minutes walk to the neighbourhood shopping centre and primary school.

There is a good variety in the facades and street scapes of these bright, spacious homes - some stone and some brick with a well thought out use of colour and texture.

Situated on the Dublin/Belfast corridor, with good access to the M1 & M50 motorways, the railway and Dublin Airport (15 minutes) and strategically to the new Deep Water Port and Balbriggans Commercial Centre, just 5 minutes away.
